OUR POSTED SIGNS EXPLAINED:

Keep enjoying the water!

The phrase "pass by permission" means we are happily and officially giving our community the green light to use the inlet for strolling, walking dogs, watching the sunset, launching boats, and enjoying the view. You are completely welcome here.

Why the sign is there:

California law (Civil Code 1008) simply requires property owners to formally state that the access is a neighborhood privilege rather than a permanent public roadway. It lets us keep the inlet open to our neighbors without permanently giving up control of the private land.

Keeping it peaceful:

The "subject to control" part allows us to manage the space responsibly so it remains safe and clean for everyone. To keep things peaceful for the nearby homes, we ask that all activities and visits take place during daylight hours and that no late-night gatherings or loud activities occur down at the inlet after dark.

We love being part of this community and are so glad we can share this beautiful access with you. All we ask in return is that everyone helps us protect the neighborhood peace, packs out their trash, and treats the inlet with care.
