The 100% volunteer team of local citizens worked
tirelessly for more than three years to raise awareness
and raise the necessary funds to purchase the Inlet.
We're excited for the momentum we're seeing in the community for the ongoing support of Save Cuesta Inlet.

Cuesta Inlet has been a treasured spot for Los Ososians and visitors alike. Our aim is to keep the Inlet waterways open for kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailing. The Inlet will continue to provide opportunities
all age groups and physical abilities to experience
its serene setting and beauty.

Funding sources will still be needed for
the management and preservation of the
Inlet for the public.

On the morning of December 5, 2025, at 9:23 AM, escrow officially closed on Cuesta Inlet. Just 26 minutes later, the King Tide rose—as if Mother Nature herself was celebrating the moment this beloved place finally came home to our community.
